Julia Mefferd, LMFT

Owner, Mental Health Therapist

Julia is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist specializing in the treatment of mental health in the context of neurodivergence. She has had the pleasure of working in community mental health, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, and within hospital systems. In all settings, Julia has provided adapted treatment to ensure it meets diverse learning and developmental needs. Outside of mental health, creating spaces for all kinds of minds has been Julia’s passion. From planning adaptive field trips, to training medical personal on sensory friendly emergency medicine, Julia aims to take advocacy to all corners. Julia provides individual therapy, mixed neurotype couples therapy, and family therapy, and parent coaching.

Hannah Sullivan, SSW, LSW

Mental Health Therapist

Hannah is a Licensed Social Worker supporting mental health in the context of neurodivergence across the lifespan. She started her work within Chicago public schools, where she focused on providing mental health services to those who may experience emotional disabilities, ADHD, Autism, anxiety, depression, developmental delays, traumatic brain injuries, and specific learning / intellectual disabilities. Hannah utilizes a variety of modalities, such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) focusing on individuals’ values and goals for themselves, mindfulness based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Harm Reduction, Narrative, Art, & Play therapeutic strategies in her work with clients. She understands therapy can be a difficult step for individuals to take, which is why she chooses to be authentic, anti-oppressive, and trauma-informed in her work with clients. Hannah provides individual therapy for children, teens and adults, family therapy and parent coaching. She is passionate about individuals reaching their goals, and hopes they feel her authenticity in their time in therapy with her!

Jen Kelly

Academic Tutor, Life Skills and Vocational Coach

Jen is a neurodivergent affirming academic tutor and life skills coach with the goal of empowering others at the forefront at her work. Jen is also the founder and director of a school specifically for students with ADHD and Anxiety. She has worked within school systems and academic institutions for over a decade seeking to support learners with all kinds of minds achieve their goals. Jen is gifted in understanding a person’s strengths and skills sets and allowing them to use those natural talents to overcome areas of difficulty. Jen knows there is not just one way to get towards your goals and ensure that her clients can find their own unique paths towards success -whatever that may mean to them. Jen enjoys not only teaching academic material, but the process of learning. This helps connect learners to their own process for success. Jen provides academic tutoring, life skills coaching, and independent living coaching.
